Services And Fees:

All fees include:

· the ceremony
· the registration of your marriage with the government of Alberta
· a statement of marriage
· a commemorative booklet of your wedding ceremony
· GST
· and the additional services and items listed in each package.

Regardless of the location of your ceremony, I am committed to arriving at
least 15 - 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time of your wedding
to assist in attending to any last minute on site details.

Please Note: It is your responsibility to secure and provide the venue for the ceremony.


	*All Advanced Bookings:* require a $50.00 non refundable deposit to secure your wedding date and time. (deposits are not required for Simple Elopement Ceremonies)

Private Simple Elopement Ceremony: $140.00

This option is for those who simply want their relationship legalized via civil marriage in the province of Alberta. Perhaps you have already had a commitment celebration, or you are planning on a wedding celebration at a holiday destination where the legal requirements are daunting (or even prohibitive for same-sex couples).

This simple legal ceremony begins with a meeting in my office, and moves into the ceremony that meets the legal requirements for marriage in Alberta.

This option is restricted to a total of 5 participants: the wedding couple, myself and the two witnesses (18 years of age or older). This service is available at my location ONLY.
I can also make provisions to supply the witnesses for the additional fee of $30.00 per witness.

Simple Ceremony: $200.00

This package is similar to the simple elopement ceremony but is at the private location* of your choice: It is perfect for the couple wanting a small intimate home gathering or back yard barbecue. This package also includes travel time and mileage within the greater Calgary area. Given the simplicity of this ceremony, there is rarely a need for a planning meeting or on - site rehearsal at the wedding location prior to your wedding day.

* This package is NOT available for ceremonies such as hotels, restaurants, community centres or halls.


		*Standard Traditional Ceremony: $250.00 - $300.00* This package is for a larger more traditional wedding ceremony with more than 4 formal participants in the ceremony, and an unlimited number of guests at the wedding venue of your choice. It includes a one hour consultation meeting at my home office to plan the details of your ceremony, An on-location wedding rehearsal with all of the wedding party prior to the date of your wedding is also available for an additional $50.00. This package also includes travel time and mileage within the greater Calgary area.

	Marriage ceremonies performed by a marriage commissioner require that during the ceremony, in the presence of the marriage commissioner and the two adult witnesses, the couple must declare to each other: · *I do solemnly declare that I do not know of any lawful impediment why I, (name) may not be joined in matrimony to (name)* · *I call upon those persons present to witness that I, (name), do take you, (name) to be my lawful wedded wife/husband/spouse.*
